Hi all,

I am researching my scottish roots and they all seem to come from Fife, mainly Elie. I took my Aunt, aged 85 ! to Elie in early October . We had a brilliant time wandering around and the weather was amazing.

Terry Gilleys pics brought back so many memories. I discovered just today, that one of my ancestors was the Harbour Master in 1891 living at Burnside Cottage. Continuing into 1901 living at The Toft. If anyone knows anything about William McIntosh born about 1853, married to Christina Weir Given I would love to hear from you.

Also anything about the Given family who lived in the High St Elie.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Mary, welcome to POE. Hope you enjoy your stay with us. There are folk on the site who like to do a bit of delving into genealogy so I'm sure before long someone will come up with some information for you
