My paternal great grandfather was Gideon Nelson Billingham b.1876 in Craddley heath.  His father Gideon Billingham (wife Keturah nee Aston) had an advert in 1896 in the trade directory under Anchor Manufacturers, address Station Street Cradley Heat.  Gideon died in 1899  Gideon and his cousin Thomas Grice had a joint chain making company in Station Street but using the company name Despatch Chain Works.  Their partnership was dissolved in 1902, but Thomas continued to use the name Gideon Billingham and then he used the name Atlas Tube and Fittings Company - I don't know if the names related to the same premises.  I haven't been successful in finding either names on old maps post 1900, nor in any trade directories, nor in Grace's.  I just wondered if anyone has any recollections of these names?
