My name is Joy and I contracted polio at the age of 6 months old. Unfortunately these last few years I am having mobility problems due to The Later Effect Of Polio, and if I want to get out and about to take photographs I have to use a battery scooter which under the circumstances is a God send.Since my mobility problems came about I have had to diversify and took on board a laptop and a camera and get about taking many photographs, some of which I have posted in to Pictures Of England. All great fun. I moved to Peacehaven from Hampstead, London, and here there are some lovely villages etc that I explore. I do enjoy looking at the pictures that every one else sends in.
