The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, Berkshire. It opened in 1839. In 1931 RAF pilot Douglas Bader (later Group Capt) had both his legs amputated here after his accident at Woodley aerodrome.
Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was also born here.
