About Fingest

The small picturesque village of Fingest is set on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. It has a wonderful church which dates from the early Norman period and which has a rare tower with a double vaulted roof. It is a Grade I listed building.
The film 'The Monuments Men' starring George Clooney, MAtt Damon and Jean Dujardin, filmed some its scenes in Fingest, and The Chequers Pub in the village starred as an antique shop in an episode of the TV drama 'Midsomer Murders'.
