Dog in a Doublet Lock, Whittlesey

One of 38 locks on the River Nene. This is the last lock and is on a man-made channel of the Nene known as Smith's Leam which flows from Stanground, Peterborough to Guyhirn near Wisbech. It runs parallel with an earlier man-made channel known as Morton's Leam (after Bishop Morton who commissioned it).
