About Helford

Favoured by its prime loacation on the delightful banks of the Helford River, this is a chosen haunt of anglers and yachtsmen. In the summertime this river is a picturesque sight, the waters become alive with colourful craft of all shapes and sizes, gliding gracefully towards the open sea.

Villages, creeks and coves are interspersed all along the river, and a ferry takes passengers from Helford to Helford Passage, where there is a welcoming inn.

In the glorious countryside there are the beautiful gardens of Trebar, Glendurgan and Carwinion, all of which are open to visitors and from Rosemullion Head there are magnificent coastal and sea views.
