Nice photo Jo. Isnt Port Isaac where the first cross Atlantic cable was started?

Sorry Peter, that was Valentia in Ireland, the main English cables came to Porthcurno on the south coast of Cornwall, there is a great museum there which has original equipment, and talks and demonstrations about undersea cable telegraphy.
