Excellent capture Pat with lots of interesting info.
Oh joy, The Crowns at Botallack- one of the most photographed engine house in Kernow and what setting let alone a place to have had to work. 22,465 tons of copper, 14,888 tons of tin and 1,525 tons of arsenic were produced between 1815-1914. The miners working the upper levels under the sea would hear the rocks and boulders being washed about on the sea bed during rough weather. Botallack Manor Farm building was indeed "Nampara" but in the original series with Robin Ellis and Anghared Rees, the 2015 "Nampara" was somewhere up on Bodmin Moor- St. Breward I think. As for Botallack Manor Farm , it has been a guest house and we stayed there for a special trip we had in the 90's. A beautiful area Pat - nice one.
lots of atmosphere in the pic. Well done.
Excellent photo
