Chinese Junk

This is a Chinese steam engine built in the 1980's and used upto a few years ago. All of the pipework is exposed on the outside of the engine to enable the crew to carry out repairs en-route, which they carried spares for. None of the pipes are brass as on British engines, probably because it would have been pinched even as it stood in the station. A lot of the pipes were flexy and some were even found to be marked B&Q.
