Wansfell, Ambleside

Almost half a mile out of Ambleside this rather innocent looking stile shows the sign 'Troutbeck, via Wansfell' but what is does not tell you is that this stile is at approx 150 metres and the top of Wansfell Pike is shown as 482 meters on the map!! And it is a relentless climb all the way to the top, but well worth the effort as I hope you see in the other photos

Super shot Dave, great stile, sneaky though not telling you how far you had to trek.
