Scandale 16

Scandale Head as seen from High Pike. Red Screes on the right with the various fells around Patterdale behind. The sheepfold towards the bottom right is where the easy part of the walk finishes!! Just to the left of it is a gate which leads to the uphill stretch to the saddle at the lower edge of Red Screes before turning left and still heading uphill to pass under Little Hart Crag on route towards the High Pike Ridge and the long, much awaited descent back to Ambleside. July 2014
