Fairfield from Skelghyll

The Fairfield Horseshoe seen from the road leading to Skelghyl Woods on the southern edges of Ambleside. The walk round the horseshoe takes in Nab Scar just behind the church leading on to Lord Crag, Heron Pike and Great Rigg before turning back towards Ambleside and descending via Dove Crag, High Pike and Low Pike and High Sweden Bridge. Have taken this shot before but never with a sky like this. 24-7-14

Those clouds certainly have a 3D feel to them, nice bright shot and I like Ambleside Church tucked in the folds of the land.
