Ambleside wedding !

Noticed this wedding group on the way back to my cottage from the pierhead. A beautiful location off the Borrans Road, this field is the home to the historic Galava Fort remains and also sheep and cows......and their dubious remains, not to mention this lovely old barn. I shudder to think what the bride ended up with on her shoes..... I watched them cover more than 100 yards in which she and the photographers assistant, held the dress well above knee height. Highly amusing to me and other folk around, but I am sure very romantic for the 'happy' couple.

If that dress is needing dry cleaning !!!!! - I shudder to think of the state it will be in. A superb shot Dave capturing an alternate scene than what you would normally see in that field.
