Bridge House Ambleside

Bridge house, the smallest property in Ambleside, over Stock beck and alongside Rydal Road. 300 years old, originally an apple store has been home to a family with 6 children. Built over the beck to avoid taxes and now owned by the National Trust. Quite possibly one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District.

Nice one Dave, did not get a chance to get a shot here as we were only passing through at the time but did get to see it.
