The Jaws of Borrowdale

Looking south down Derwentwater from the Friars Crag area towards the very aptly named Jaws of Borrowdale which eventually lead over the Honister pass to Buttermere. If you can see what looks like a hand rising out of the water you are quite correct. A brave young lady was getting in some open water swimming training, fully wet-suited I hasten to add, as the water was quite cold from the melt waters running in from the fells.
