I took this picture walking around the back of the castle toward the stairs leading to I believe the Japanese Tea Garden area. The flooring is just beautiful and is covered greatly by flora. Image cannot be loaded

Lowther Castle, Cumbria. I took this picture just inside the main door of the castle. It is an amazing bottom portion of a statue of a knightly person. If you look you can see the chainmail on the leg and the shield. It is broken in half. Image cannot be loaded
