Troutbeck 13

Just before Robin Lane opens out onto the fells there is a little opening overlooking the village. This stone sited there says 'To Remember The Sheepdogs of Troutbeck 2006'. Obviously means a lot to the people of Troutbeck but as yet I can find no reference as the the reasoning behind it. But good reason to back and ask around. But again if anyone knows anything please let me know
