Chapel-en-le-Frith, Eccles Pike Topograph

Eccles Pike is an isolated hill 3 miles west of Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Derbyshire Peak District. It consists of gritstone, and is pink in colour at the summit. While not as prominent as the surrounding hills of Cracken Edge and Combs Moss it is still very popular with walkers. It stands at 370 metres high, and offers great views of Manchester and the Kinder Scout plateau. Combs reservoir sits just to the south of the hill.
