The hamlet of Ford The oldest part of Ford Hall dates back to at least the reign of Henry lll [1216-1272]. The hamlet of Ford is believed to be the oldest part in the parish of Chapel-en-le-frith. It was on the route of a Salt Way from Cheshire to Yorkshire.
