Budleigh Salterton had a Railway until Dr. Beeching took it away in 1967. The Station and track were taken up and where the station once stood there is now this building behing the green fencing on the right. It's called Stanley Mews and is a Sheltered Housing scheme. Stanley was the Christian-name of the last Station Master.
