The start of Budleigh's Promenade

The white "octagon" building on the left is where Sir John Everett Millais stayed when he painted the famous picture, "The boyhood of Raleigh" and the Promenade starts there and passes to the right, in front of all the properties, ending at the foot of Coastguard Road to the east.
