The gateposts to the non existent park on Park Lane. The dressed stone that was going to be used to build the Park Mansion, was left when the scheme was abandoned. The stone was salvaged and Monk's Thatch cottage was (allegedly) built with it. Waste not Want not. Funnily enough there are no hinge hooks, holes or anything else discernable that could be used to hang gates.
