Kingswear on the Dart estuary in South Devon is the less well known town opposite Dartmouth. It's worth the ferry ride across, with moored boats, a steam railway, and this view of Dartmouth naval college across the river.

Coleton Fishacre was built for Rupert D'Oyly Carte, whose father had beem the impresario behind the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan. Well worth a visit.

Waterhead Creek is a side creek to the River Dart, used mainly as a marina at Kingswear, adjacent to the railway station and the Lower Dart Ferry terminal.
