Prysten House

This fine example of 15th century architecture stands in Finewell Street and is the oldest house in central Plymouth. Built between 1487 and 1498, this house was known, until the 19th century, as Yogges House. Built of limestone and retaining much of its original charm and character, the Prysten House contains a famous tapestry, which is enormous and worth seeing in the flesh.
