The Wellington Tower Swanage

The Wellington Tower Swanage known locally as the ‘clock tower’. The tower originally stood on the southern approach to London bridge, because it impeded traffic it was dismantled by the John Mowlem company in 1868 and re erected in Swanage The spire was removed about 1904 and replaced by a cupola.
