St. Osyth priory gatehouse

Currently not accessable to the public due to new ownership, this is a breath taking building. As legend suggests this is where St. Osyth was thought to carry her head knock on the doors three times before falling down dead after being beheaded. Legend also states to this day, Osyth's ghost walks along the priory walls carrying her head one night each year.
