Dinneywicks Pub Sign, Kingswood, nr Wotton Under Edge, Gloucestershire 2014

There are two stories in reference of why the pub is named Dinneywicks. 1) - After a nearby field where its owner is said to have levied a toll there because it straddled a highway, 2) - After a nearby hill which was a burial ground for horses in the civil war.
