Spitfire Mk1a R6915

The Spitfire played a major part in achieving ultimate victory in World War Two and truly deserves its place as probably the most successful fighter design ever, and certainly as the most famous and charismatic of all time . Spitfire R6915 flew 57 sorties in the Battle of Britain . On 25 September 1940 it was piloted by Pilot Officer Noel le Chevalier Agazarian , he shared in the destruction of the plane Heinkel He 111P G1+LR of 7/KG 55 .
