Some kind of newt ( I think )

I found this in my shed about 10 mins ago, has anyone got any idea what sort it is.

I'm fairly certain it's a female smooth newt

I had an idea it was some kind of newt, i just wasn't sure, my back garden is extremely wet and floods in the winter so ideal habitat for it . Thanks for the info.
