Upper Drawing Room

Formerly chapels in the Great Gatehouse, the Upper Drawing Room and the adjoining Ante Room still display the religious origins of their past in their architecture. The christening of Lord Montagu’s first grandchild was celebrated in these rooms in 2001. The piano in the centre of the room is one of the English Broadwood company's earliest models.
