William Walker

A Bust of William Walker who in the early 1900s spent six years diving and saving the east end of the Cathedral from collapse by replacing rotten timbers with masonary. The Cathedral is built on a water saturated area and has areas under the building where water actually flows. The crypt is not open all the time as much of it's time it is under water.
