The Old King's School Shop, or Crooked House on Palace Street

On Canterbury's Palace Street. close to the entrance to King's School is the building that was originally the School Shop. The building's perilous lean angle was probably the result of poor building practice during the removal of a fireplace, but it is now supported by an internal steel frame. The curious shape was instrumental in the location's appearance in at least one of the Harry Potter movies.
