Tornado steam train passing through Lancaster, Lancashire

60163 Tornado, the recently built steam locomotive passing through Lancaster station on the West Coast Main Line (WCML) with a special train, 'The Border Raider' to Carlisle. Tornado was built as no original members of the class of A1 locomotives survived into preservation after the end of steam on British Railways in 1968. It is seen here in Garter Blue livery which was used for express passenger locomotives.
