A picture of Belton House

Belton House, Belton, Lincolnshire. The serenely beautiful Belton House, Belton, Lincolnshire was the country home of the Brownlow family. The most celebrated house, of it's period, it was completed in 1688 and remained in the family for 300 years. It now belongs to the National Trust. The peace and serenity of Belton has attracted many royal visitors over the years. King George III was entertained here and Edward VIII often came to stay before his abdication. In more recent times it has been a film location for the BBC's 'Pride and Prejudice' and 'Tom Jones'
