This giant mosaic depicting the history of the village of Billinghay was finally completed earlier this year, the cumulation of 10 years work. In all 20 people spent 6,000 hours fixing 144,000 pieces of ceramic tile to the specially constructed wall. The design, by Scottish artist Alan Potter, incorporates village landmarks as well as snippets of the village's history.
