Ten years into the 21st Century the railway from Peterborough to Lincoln remains delightfully unmodernised. In the absence of modern trains or road vehicles this view at Gosberton, with its traditional gates, crossing-keeper's hut and semaphore signals could almost have been taken in the 1950s.
