The statues of King Edward and Eleanor adorns Lincoln Cathedral. Edward looks to be dressed not unlike a Ceaser; perhaps this is an e.g. of poetic license and politic flattery his being known as the hammer of the Scotts after successfully and cruelly subdueing the Welsh.
