St. Peter & St Paul's, Owmby by Spital, Lincolnshire
The Anglican Parish Church at Owmby by Spital is dedicated to St. Peter & St. Paul. The fabric of the building is mainly Norman with the entrance being in the base of the tower. In 1845 Archdeacon Stonehouse said "Owmby Church is an old ruinous fabric held together by the lead covering the roof". Unfortunately the beams and rafters supporting the lead became ravaged by woodworm and in 1939 the roof collapsed. The replacement roof (replaced again in 2000) was one of many renovations needed over the years
