Daffodils at Constable Burton Hall.

Constable Burton is a village and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. It is located about 3 miles east of Leyburn. Its main attraction is the gardens of Constable Burton Hall. It takes its name from Burton meaning a fortified settlement in Old English and Conestable as it was granted in 1100 to Roald who was the Chief Constable for the Earl of Richmond.
