A picture of Filey

Black Hole, the doodle on the north of the Brigg which marks the point where access by foot comes to an abrupt stop. some explorers of the Brigg have been known to attempt to walk to Scarborough along the shore, but this is not possible and Black Hole marks the end of your route! 'Doodles' are small coves, of which there are several on the north aspect of the Brigg. These coves have been formed by the undercutting action of the sea, which originally formed small caves. The doodles are the remains of these caves long after the cave roofs have collapsed, leaving the open coves.
