Corbridge St, Andrew's

St Andrews is the monastic church of Corbridge, probably founded by St. Wilfred almost over 1300 years ago! Much of the stone at Corbridge was filched from the abandoned Corstopitum, the nearby Roman fort. Besides lots of artefacts it has splendid stained glass windows. This is a view of the aisle showing the pews, font and roof beams.
