Anglo-Scotian mill

This is the main building of the Anglo-Scotian mill. It is situated on Wollaton Road, Beeston and was built in the mid 1800's by J Huckerby for F Wilkinson in a crenellated Gothic style for the manufacture of lace and shawls. It was subsequently used as a tenement lace factory.
