St. Aldates and Tom Tower, Oxford

Approaching Oxford city centre from the south, the Bell Tower of Christ Church College (Tom Tower) dominates the view. The tower was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, and the name 'Tom Tower' derives from the name of the bell, Great Tom.
