The Dingle

The Dingle wood walk on the Dudmaston Estate. By controlling the Quatt Brook, a small tributary of the Severn to the south of the hall, it was reshaped and sent on a course through the Dingle, a small, wooded valley, which was quarried and sculpted with Small cliffs, waterfalls and rustic bridges it created a framework for the winding paths and seating areas. Designed by Frances Lister and her head gardener Walter Wood
