About West Quantoxhead

The parish of West Quantoxhead lies on the northern slopes of the Quantock Hills, approximately ¾ mile from the Bristol Channel. It sits on the A39 road from Bridgwater to Minehead, just 2 miles from Williton which has a full range of shops, banks, post office etc. In West Quantoxhead we have a shop and petrol station, pub, village hall, wedding centre and there are two holiday parks nearby.

We have a population of approximately 300 most of whom are retired. The Parish Church of St Etheldreda (also known as St Audries) is situated on the outskirts of the village, close to the village hall and the wedding centre (formerly the Manor House) which provides the Church with a fair number of weddings and blessings.
