About Froghall

Attractively situated on the banks of the Caldon Canal in the beautiful Churnet Valley. Froghall offers visitors the opportunity to experience a diverse range of landscapes including fine watermeadows with a wealth of wildlife.

A new Wharf area in Froghall has moorings for rivercraft, and boat trips including evening trips can be arranged from the Wharf.

Froghall is on the Churnet Valley Steam Railway Heritage line and of the interesting things to see in the region there is the beautiful brickwork of the old lime kilns.

Attractions include Alton Towers, RSPB Nature Reserve, Llam Park NT, and the Peak District National Park.
