Cow Parsley, yes you can eat it !

Cow Parsley bordering a field and barn to the N.E. of Branston and it is apparently very tasty, see http://www.eatweeds.co.uk/sweet-pickled-cow-parsley-stems. The famous Branston Pickle originated in the village but in 2004 production moved to Bury St Edmunds.

That is an absolutely gorgeous picture Patrick, and lovely description. I wonder how many will now pickle cowparsley stems?
