Taken from a seating area on the south side looking up stream, at the area looking at the bridge plaque. This bridge looks a lot lie many others but it is the new bridge at this ancient crossing point on the river, with is being the first point to cross for hundred of years with the banks a distance to have a single span till the Romans arrived with multi arch Bridges. This then gives why the River Thames has two castles on it unlike any other with Windsor just along a couple of miles standing guard over such a important crossing point. This first bridge being a foot bride from the Nuns cloisters on the north side of the river and at a point these days next to Laleham rowing clubs building on the riverside. Image cannot be loaded

Chertsey Train Station in 2009 with the up line on the left to London that takes along time with the line it takes. This station is the only one i know of witch stands alone with London Waterloo as the main hub, with it being you can get there from both platforms with the same time at price. There are tricks you can use with the down line being 95% ending two stops away at Weybridge with then the multi stop train from there onwards and the other times to Woking with both of these on the London to Portsmouth Line. Up line is to Staines but the next stop is Virginia Water and the trick is a Link if you get off and cross the foot bridge there to a faster service to London on Platform 1, within the normal daylight hours.
