Goodbye XH558
© Vince Hawthorn (view gallery)
The Vulcan XH558 makes a slow pass up the A3 at Eashing as it makes it's final flight around the South of England. The Vulcan will be grounded soon for various technical and financial reasons as far as I know. Today is only the third time I have seen the Vulcan, last year I saw it from Cranleigh in Surey and previous to that I saw one in 1970 coming in to land when I was working as a surveyor on RAF St. Athan and it would have been coming there for a major service at that time.
